We were delighted to host this year’s Africa Early Stage Investor Summit’s (AESIS) local investor meet-up in Johannesburg on 2 October 2024!
Each year AESIS arranges worldwide meet-ups with local hosts to build momentum towards the grand finale in Cape Town, scheduled for 28-29 November 2024, at the V&A Waterfront in Cape Town, South
Africa.
This year’s theme, “Pioneering Pathways: Innovating Capital Mobilization in Africa,” will focus on
navigating both obstacles and opportunities within the African investment landscape. Just as innovation
is essential to the success of any organization, empowering ecosystem members to redefine and
pioneer new approaches to investment will be crucial for advancing capital mobilization within Jozi Angels, the other 74 networks affiliated with ABAN, and additional funders.
AESIS is the premier summit dedicated exclusively to investors, uniting the most influential early-stage
investors, thought leaders, and industry experts focused on Africa. With over 2,000 investors managing
nearly 90% of the capital deployed in early-stage ventures across the continent, the summit is a
cornerstone of the investor community.
